On Thursday, March 6th, 2014 we proudly presented "Spring Song From Japan" at the magnificent residence of Ambassador and Mrs.Kusaka of Japan. The concert featured superb Japanese artists: Sean Kennard, pianist and son of a Japanese mother, who has won top prizes in such prestigious competitions as the Queen Elizabeth Competition (Belgium); a performance on the charming traditional Japanese instrument Okoto by the well known Masayo Ishigure; and a thrilling finale by the renowned young violinist and conductor Kensho Watanabe.

A delightful Japanese Buffet Supper followed the concert.

We opened 2014 -15 season at Steinway Hall with our Gala Awards Concert on October 13, 2014. The concert featured winners of the 2014 Salon De Virtuosi Awards: Emi Ferguson, flutist, Kensho Watanabe, violinist, Gideon Whitehead, guitarist, Bela Horvath, violinist and pianist Balazs Fulei. Robert Sherman, award-winning broadcaster and writer, served as the MC.

On May 7th, 2014 we presented a special concert to a packed house at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall honoring Charlotte White, Founder and Director of the Salon de Virtuosi in celebration of her 100th BIRTHDAY! The concert featured some of the Salon’s past grant winners and other outstanding young artists. We were thrilled to have Vladimir Feltsman as our Guest of Honor. Robert Sherman, award-winning broadcaster and writer, served as the MC.
