Gala Awards Concert

Our acclaimed Gala Awards Concert will feature five of our 2019 Career Grant Winners Yesong Sophie Lee, violin, Yi-Nuo Wang, piano, Madeline Olson, harp, Minami Yoshida, violin and Anna Han, piano, with the renowned musicologist Robert Sherman, host of WQXR’s Young Artists Showcase, as Master of Ceremonies. Our sixth Career Grant Winner, Zlatomir Fung, will perform at our Musical Soul of Hungary concert later in the season.


Autumn in New York

We will feature the talented pianist and composer Audrey Vardanega and the rising violinist Nathan Meltzer, with a special return appearance of 2017 Salon Career Grant Winner Asi Matathias, violin,

as guest artist.


Holiday Concert

Join us as we celebrate the season at the beautiful home of Lewis and Elizabeth Bryden.

We will feature the gifted young violinist Marley Erickson and the exciting clarinetist Bixby Kennedy.


SPRING


Musical Gems from Eastern Europe

We celebrate the cultural heritage of Eastern Europe with the talented young cellist Aleksander Simic, student of Salon Career Grant Winner Istvan Vardai, and the thrilling pianist Do-Hyun Kim. This concert, presented with the kind support of  Consul General Maya Hristova of the Consulate General of Bulgaria  in New York, will also feature a performance by 2019 Salon Career Grant Winner Zlatomir Fung, cello,

who recently won First Prize at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition.


Salute to France

We are thrilled to present an evening at the elegant French Consulate, under the patronage of Anne Claire Legendre, Consul General of France in New York, featuring the phenomenal French pianist Remi Geniet and the gifted young violinist Hina Khuong-Huu.


East Meets West

Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 7 p.m.

We will close the season with our spectacular Season Finale at the Consulate General of India, with the kind support of Mr. Sandeep Chakravorty, Consul General of India in New York, featuring the outstanding young American cellist Alexander Hersh, 2019 Career Grant winner Madeline Olson, harp, and acclaimed traditional Indian musicians.


SPECIAL BONUS CONCERTS

As a special thank you to our members who join for the entire season, we are planning two wonderful bonus concerts. The first is our New Year’s Concert on January 23, 2020, featuring the gifted Spanish pianist Albert Cano Smit and introducing the 12-year old child prodigy flutist Sooah Jeon, winner of the 2019 92nd Street Y Concerto Competition. Our popular Spring Song from Japan is also planned for March 19, 2020.
