As a special bonus for our members, we are including recent interviews with the artists where they share insights about their lives, musical inspiration, hobbies, and how they are adapting to life during this period.
On February 16, 2021 the Salon de Virtuosi was delighted to present a special virtual Valentine Piano Extravaganza, featuring performances and interviews with two exceptional young pianists - Chelsea Guo, top prize winner of the 2020 National Chopin Competition, who is also a vocalist. She will delight us with several art songs, performed together with pianist Eden Chen, in addition to her exciting solo piano program. Learn more about Chelsea Guo HERE.
The program also featured Elliot Wuu, a Young Steinway Artist who was also named a 2018 Gilmore Young Artist, one of the most prestigious awards bestowed every two years to only two young pianists under the age of 21, who will share his own selection of piano repertoire gems. Learn more about Elliot Wuu HERE.
The artists performed from an elegant private loft in Chelsea in a program recorded especially for the Salon de Virtuosi audience, members, friends and benefactors.
We are immensely grateful to these artists for sharing with us their music and inspiration, especially during these still-challenging times, and to all of our sponsors and benefactors for making it possible.
